EcoMUSICology and Vancouver's Bird Strategy

How is the City of Vancouver maximizing green space benefits for humans and wildlife? The David Suzuki Foundation partnered with Emily Carr University of Art Design to create EcoMUSICology, a course that lets students learn about the nature views and sounds around Metro Vancouver. This short video showcases the City of Vancouver’s Bird Strategy, and features the music of Vancouver-based dizi master Charlie Lui.

Homeboy Histories

During an exchange to Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, I co-produced this short documentary featuring the Helper Foundation. This non-profit organization believes that "community intervention services are needed now more than ever to combat gang-related violence, the destruction of our communities, and the loss of our young people to the lure of economic depravity”. Together with the Helper Foundation, Otis students created an art workshop to bring a sense of community to at risk youth in LA.

Vancouver Arts Colloquium Society Youtube Channel 2016-2017

From 2016-2017, I produced the videos for Vancouver Arts Colloquium Society. Together, we created workshops and programs to build cross-cultural resilience in communities through art, and by promoting the work of established and emerging artists within these communities. The programs were designed to build lasting, supportive, symbiotic networks between artists and communities.
